Computional Modelling of Thermo-Elastohydrodynamic Lubricated Contacts

The present CONTACTLUB project aims to develop reliable, advanced and experimentally validated computational models and methodologies for Thermo-Elasto-hydrodynamic lubricated (TEHL) contacts, with specific focus on (i) dynamic response of TEHL contacts to variable loads and speeds (oscillating movements , vibrations, ..) and (ii) the influence of TEHL contact dynamics on structural propagation of vibrations and noise in systems consisting of different mechanical components.
