Project

The complexity and measurability of psychotherapy outcomes: a multi-method study on the relationship between pre-structured measures, subjective experience, clinical judgement, and cortisol.

This project wants to contribute to the optimization of outcome measurement in psychotherapy research. First, the complexity of outcome will be mapped by investigating interrelationships between pre-structured outcome measures and individualized or qualitative approaches to outcome. Second, the value of the biomarker cortisol as an outcome measure that is not influenced by human judgement will be investigated.
