Alliance Research Group: Centre for Literature in Translation

The researchers involved in this “Alliantieonderzoeksgroep” aim at identifying the textual units in literary translations that reflect the discursive presence or absence of the translator(s)in a clearly marked or relevant way; units studied include paratexts, specific sections of multilingual texts, self-translations, retranslations, the sociocultural frame of references etc. The research group further intends to explore how translation studies can significantly inform studies in literature and literary history.
