The institutionalisation of ministerial offices in Westminster systems: A configurational comparative analysis of ministers’ offices and ‘cabinetisation’ in Australia, Britain, Canada, and New Zealand

This PhD dissertation titled, “The institutionalisation of ministerial offices in Westminster systems”, examines the changing nature of the political executive. In particular, I specifically examine the institution of ministerial offices within the political executive and the institution’s developmental trajectory across time in the four classic Westminster family countries: Australia, Britain, Canada, and New Zealand.
