Broadband compact antennas inspired by transformation optics

Utilizing the method of transformation optics (TO) and composite right- and left-handed transmission lines (CRLH-TLs) with metamaterial substrates to miniaturize antennas is a topic worth studying. Thus, the following research will focus on designing dual-polarized broadband compact antennas based on transformation optics. To obtain exclusive-distributed material properties, metamaterial will be used. In addition, a new calculation algorithm based on TO will be adopted to improve the simulation efficiency and accuracy of compact antennas. Furthermore, an applicable compact antenna with metamaterial-based substrate will be designed.
