Bioelectrochemical systems as concentration cells for nutrients and organics
Biocatalysis can be combined with membrane electrolysis for the production and separation of nutrients such as nitrogen and potassium. In this project we will develop a novel method to harvest organic acids from fermentation besides improving anaerobic digestion.
