Balance and perspective - Exploration and development of the heritage community concerning academic heritage in Flanders (phase 2)

The project aims on the basis of a preliminary investigation to digitize some of the Flemish academic heritage and unlock via an interuniversity online heritage portal, to open the university collections for the general public and to the review of the academic heritage expand Flanders. It eindoel is to come to the formal establishment of a Flemish Consultation Platform for Academic Heritage which may occur stimulating and advisory in the care and enhancement of the academic heritage based on professional competence and with the support of a wide network of participants. This project includes a number of concrete steps.
