Automated sample preparation for mass spectrometry-based proteomics using the DigestPro MSi instrument.

Mass spectrometers are essential instruments for contemporary proteome analysis. Typically, proteins are digested into peptides prior to analysis. In our labs this crucial step is not automated, implying that variation is inevitably introduced by manual intervention. Here, by installing a robot for fully automated sample preparation we will increase the overall quality of our proteome research.
