Archeology of the Berbers

The Berbers use their defended granaries to store their harvests and precious goods. Such granaries were generally built apart from the village on an easy and naturally defended site. One finds from Morocco to Tripolitania. The oldest dated granaries are supposedly located in South-Tunisia but this subject has still not got any special attention.
