Apoptosis, necrosis and autophagy: a comparative study of the impact dying cells on innate immunity

Defective interactions of dying cells with the innate and adaptive immune system contribute to the development of cancer and autoimmunity. The main goal of the current project is to study in a comparative way the mechanisms of interaction and communication of different types of dying cells (apoptotic, necrotic and autophagic) with the innate immune system.
