AM3BIT : A multi-stakeholder multi-modelling multi-representation based approach to developing information systems

Successful software development requires a multi-modelling approach to address all stakeholders' concerns. The stakeholders' different backgrounds require multiple representations tailored to the stake-holders' needs. The general goal of this project will therefore investigate a multi-modelling and multi-representation approach to software development: how multiple linked models (domain, processes, application, tasks, user interfaces) can be created, edited, and exploited together in a multi-modelling and model-driven engineering (MDE)-based approach by various stakeholders involved in the development of an information system. To address the concerns of each stakeholder more adequately, a multi-representation approach will provide each stakeholder with an adapted representation to foster understandability from that stakeholder's perspective, thus contributing to software quality.
