Advanced characterization and passivation of solution processed chalcogenide solar cells. (R-9880)

Development of low-cost, sound efficiency thin film chalcogenides for PV applications (e.g. single junction CIGS or tandem CIS + perovskite devices). The current research utilizes solution-based deposition techniques for active layer deposition and novel device architectures for the passivation and texturing of the rear and front of these solar cells.
