Organisation profile:The Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) is an independent scientific research institute, associated with Hasselt University. Its mission is to develop sustainable solutions for issues in the fields of transportation, traffic safety and logistics. The institute tries to achieve its mission at national and international level by performing fundamental and applied research and by providing training with regard to traffic and transportation, such as the bachelor-master programme in Transportation Studies at UHasselt and the Transportation Academy, in cooperation with the VSV.
