In the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Faculty of Sciences at the KU Leuven, the Institute for Theoretical Physics covers various areas of mathematical and theoretical physics, including quantum gravity, cosmology, string theory, biophysics, nonequilibrium  physics, statistical mechanics and quantum many-body theory..  Key-words include: Elementary Particle Physics.
