Main organisation:Research Unit Civil Law
Lifecycle:1 Oct 1997  →  Today
Organisation profile:

The Rector Roger Dillemans Family Property Law Institute is eager to contribute to quality research and teaching in family property law, national and comparative. Family Property Law includes relational and matrimonial property law, inheritance law, wills and donations, trusts and estates.

The Institute also hopes to inspire a more human and ethical approach towards the law. Legistic attitudes of ‘the law for the law’ should bow for equity and human values. Law is no more than a humble instrument, never a goal in and of itself.
