PEDI covers most current clinical research topics in paediatrics. The staff of the department includes paediatricians, paediatric neurologists, paediatric psychiatrists, etc. Clinical research is performed in all paediatric subspecialties. Main topics of interest are: intensive care in the older child; high frequency ventilation, oscillatory ventilation, metabolic disease, adolescent medicine, psychosomatic disorders, bronchoscopy, cystic fibrosis, gastro-oesophageal reflux, food allergy, endoscopy, diabetes, etc.
