Leisure, Future and Policy Planning

Within the department BSVB the research unit VTBP is developing research within the areas of leisure, future and policy planning. Considering the social development of the leisure sector the above mentioned themes deal with as well the private and public sector. Current research is thus dealing with: 1. Leisure and tourism; 2. Leisure and the participation of specific target groups (that is to say 'third age'); 3. Policy planning and related management problems, oriented towards f.i. fitness centres in diverse institutional structures, sport organisations, public sport structures; 4. Strategic planning of sport organisations in function of the analysis of specific future developments (trend analysis).
