Laboratory for Muscle Diseases and Neuropathies
The topic of my research group is focused on neuromuscular disorders, in particular on muscle diseases (both acquired and hereditary muscle diseases). My research comprises very distinct aspects of these diseases: clinical, genetic, histopathological, neurophysiological and imaging studies and genotype-phenotype correlations, as well as pathophysiological studies to understand the underlying pathomechanisms in muscle diseases, and translational applications.
