Organisation profile:ISLN (Institute for the Study of Literature in the Netherlands) is a research group of the University of Antwerp. ISLN focuses on Dutch-language literature from the Middle Ages to the present. Specific attention goes to book history, multilingualism and the social context of literature. ISLN houses the documentation centers Louis Paul Boon and Hugo Claus and works structurally with other institutions in and around Antwerp that are active in the field of literary heritage: Ruusbroec Institute, Reynaertgenootschap, Hendrik Conscience Heritage Library, Plantin-Moretus Museum and Letterenhuis.
