Organisation profile:To produce knowledge and to provide academic teaching in the domains of plant breeding, ecophysiology and the production of healthy plants and crops in dynamic and socially accepted cropping systems. BW21 produces knowledge and provides academic teaching in the following domains: plant breeding and plant breeding research, propagation and multiplication of plants and crops in vivo and in vitro, weed science, phytopathology, entomology, acarology, bio-stimulantia, sustainable crop protection, eco-efficient and sustainable glasshouse and outdoors production systems, growth and prediction models, (eco)physiology, agroecology, sensor technology, technical, ecotechnical and biotechnical innovations, tropical agriculture and ethnobotany.
