Organisation profile:The Department of Morphology of Ghent University studies the bodybuilding of animals, especially those of pets, horses, nutritional animals for food production (including aquaculture) and marine animals including sea fish and invertebrates.The scientific expertise is being provided to the community by setting up numerous courses and providing service advice to veterinarians, clinicians and educational and research institutions at home and abroad.abroad. The subject is divided into three units, especially the groups Anatomy, Histology and Embryology. The research projects within the field of Morphology focus on the following themes: tonsillary immunomorphology,anatomy of the blood vessel, mechanisms of angiogenesis during embryonic development and aquatic veterinary medicine.
