Organisation profile:This department brings together a diverse group of scientists that are distributed among three closely interacting research units :Mass Spectrometry and ProteomicsStructural Biology and BiophysicsMolecular GlycobiologyThe research topics are diverse and embedded in environmental, medical and food microbiology. Special interest groups of bacteria include the genera Aeromonas, Bacillus, Burkholderia, Campylobacter, and Pseudomonas, the lactic and acetic acid bacteria, flavobacteria and rhizobia.
