Research Group
The departement Criminology has conducted indepth research for over thirthy years. Research has been done on the application of prison penals and alternative penals, the rights of inmates, community oriented policing and the relation between the police and the community, the development of new security professions, juvenile criminality and the confinement of youngsters and women in prison.
