CETRA - Centre for Translation Studies

CETRA is the international forum of KU Leuven integrating research in the large domain of translation studies, also including interpreting, localization, adaptation and other types of textual transfer. Some of CETRA's activities:

- since 1989: the yearly organization of the international CETRA Research Summer School for PhD students and postdocs, in collaboration with the CETRA international staff;
- co-organization of international conferences in translation studies;
- the CETRA lectures series;
- the publication of the CETRA series on 'Translation, interpreting & transfer' at Leuven University Press
