Unique IsoPlexis technology for multiplexed single cell functional profiling

All biomedical domains require single cell analyses to reveal and quantify population heterogeneity. Current single cell proteome analyses - eg. via CITEseq or flow cytometry -, while sensitive and multiplexed, merely describe phenotypes then used to extrapolate on function. Strikingly, all methods fall short on identifying the true functional profile of cells, that is to reveal whether cells actually secrete factors they produce, which and how many factors they produce, or how many cells in a population possess true (poly-)functionality. Importantly, it is such secretome information - rather than information gained from intracellular detection of factors - that possesses predictive power on disease progression and treatment success eg. in various cancers, in dendritic cell vaccine or CAR-T cell therapy efficacy. The established IsoPlexis technology is unique in providing functional single cell data that - we are convinced - will become a standard in immune-monitoring and many other (bio)medical applications.
