Individual ventilated cage system for the central animal facility of the faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences

Confirmation of promising in vitro results in an in vivo animal model is indispensable in (bio-) medical research. To do this in a scientifically reliable and ethically responsible manner, good care and housing for laboratory animals is essential. Individually ventilated cages are indispensable for this: additional barriers lead to fewer infections and therefore increased welfare and more reliable results.
