Beyond inflammation: addressing disease impact in rheumatoid arthritis

This project will focus on the holistic approach of the patient with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), which implies that in addition to pharmacological strategies, practical care organization and non-pharmacological care of the patient with RA will be investigated. For this, the project will build on data from the CareRA study (which focused on comparing the efficiency of different intensive treatment strategies, impact on the patient as well as practical implementability and cost-effectiveness of therapy) and the CareRA2020 study. in addition, the project includes a rituximab dose-optimization study, an M-Health project and a study aimed at identifying and addressing factors that lead to a discordance between disease assessment by physician and patient.
