Improvement of Cattle Fertility and Fetal Programming guided by Ultrasonography, Hormonal Assay and Metabolic Profiling.

In the present study we will examine the prevalence of ovarian disturbances among dairy cows in Bangladesh. Based on a field study, the association with the metabolic load the cows experience and the effect of the nutritional level will be examined. In Ghent, aspects about metabolic programming in fairy cows will be studied. The latter will be done based on the close follow up of embryonic growth in pregnant lactating dairy cows.
