Elucidation of strigolactone signaling through chemical genetics

Strigolactones are phytohormones with economic importance and a molecular view on how strigolactones act is lacking. We use chemical genetics in Arabidopsis to decipher the molecular mechanism of strigolactone sensing and signaling. By identifying small chemicals and their target proteins, we will get new insights into how strigolactones signaling works.
