Integration of genomic data for analysis of genome-evolution and transcirptional regulation in plants

Genomic data from different consortia will be centralised and stored in a uniform format (linked to a web-interface with toolbox for additional analyses). Orthologous and paralogous relationships between homologous genes will be inferred. Detection of genomic homology, inter- an intra-species, will provide new insights in genome-evolution. Finally, using comparative footprinting methods, cis-regulatory and other conserved non-coding elements will be detected.
