The use of mRNA-lipoplex loaded microbubbles in cancer vaccination (grant Heleen Dewitte)

This project focuses on the use of mRNA-lipoplex loaded microbubbles for ultrasound-assisted cancer vaccination. The goal is to evaluate to what extent sonoporation (using microbubbles and ultrasound) can be used to transfect dendritic cells, what the effect of sonoporation on the cells and their function is, and how the resulting antitumor immune responses can be maximized in vivo.
