Dispositional greed: scale development and an empirical investigation of causes and consequences (Dispositionele hebzucht)

Much research exists on situational triggers of greedy behavior. However, virtually nothing is known about the causes and consequences of dispositional or personality differences in greed. This project investigates individual greed and its effect on behavior and judgments, through the development of a scale to measure dispositional greed and through experimental research using economic game theory to differentiate it from envy.
