Project

The identification of genetic variation linked to canine cranial cruciate ligament rupture.

Cranial cruciate ligament rupture (CCLR) is a highly prevalent multifactorial, polygenetic disorder. The aim of this research project is to identify genetic variation linked to CCLR by whole exome sequencing. The identified causal genetic variation will enable us to reduce the prevalence of this disorder in the dog population.
