Testing propositional theories of evaluative learning

In this research project, we examine to what extent the learning of implicit or spontaneous evaluations depends on processes that allow for the formation of propositions in memory. We test propositional explanations of important empirical observations that are often seen as problematic for propositional theories and have fueled belief in alternative, associative accounts of evaluative learning.
