The narrative construction of religious identities in German-speaking Muslim fiction written by authors of Iranian or Iraqi origin.
After 2001, Muslim fiction in German proliferated. My research project analyses religious practices and experiences of Islam as well as the narrative construction of religious identities in literary texts written in German by authors of Iranian and Iraqi descent, using a rhetorical and narratological approach.
