Civil war, gender, and citizenship. The impact of womenU+2019s organizations on the reconstruction of collective identities in post-war Bosnia-Herzegovina 1995-2000

The project analyzes the work of womenU+2019s organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1995, how women re-elaborate their experience of the recent past and overcome war trauma, and what kind of future they imagine and contribute to build for themselves and their nation(s), with a focus on the intersection of the two identity axes of gender and ethnicity.
