The role of professional learning communities in experienced and expert teacher learning

In this doctoral thesis, we analyze the professional development of experienced teachers in Flemish primary and secondary schools. The school as a professional learning community in which teachers’ learning is stimulated throughout the entire career, is the key element in this research. Both influencing and outcome variables are investigated.
