Mental health nurses' role and contribution in the interdisciplinary care for individuals suffering from suicidal ideation.

There is insufficient knowledge to guide and monitor nursing care for individuals suffering from suicidal ideation. As such, this PhD-proposal aims (1) to develop an evidence-based theoretical model of nurses’ and service users’ views on the role of nurses, and (2) to define and validate a set of nursing indicators in the context of suicidality.
