Research into the phenomenon of marriage migration (110l3411)
This project maps migration to Flanders induced by a marriage or cohabitation with a resident, for the period 2008-2011. The scope of the phenomenon is outlined, as well as the distribution according to origin region, residence, type of partner and evolution. The results are based on an extraction from the national register of all partner migrants and their partners.
