Computational Fluid Dynamics based design of a novel reactor technology for the Oxidative Coupling of Methane

In this work computational fluid dynamics (CFD) will be coupled with detailed microkinetic models for heterogeneous catalysis, and more specifically for the oxidative coupling of methane (OCM). This will allow to optimize the design and operating conditions of a novel reactor technology for this process, namely the gas-solid vortex reactor in a static geometry (GSVR-SG).
