Slack resources: Underexplored consequences and antecedents

Simply possessing slack resources cannot cause higher firm performance. Managers must utilize slack resources. This project focuses on “interim” processes such as the relationship between slack and export withdrawal, and slack and human resource issues. This project also provides a better understanding of what drives the level of slack because slack resources do not come out of thin air.
