A bioelectromagnetic software platform for computer-assisted transcranial magentic stimulation and conductivity estimation

We study accurate methods for solving bioelectromagnetic problems numerically which can be coupled to TMS and MRI. More specific, we develop a software platform (1)to calculate the impact of present TMS stimulators on the neurological system; (2)to design more optimal TMS coil configurations; (3)to estimate patient-specific conductivity values of the different brain tissues using an MR-based technique IC-MREIT.
