Project

Improved nitrous oxide (N2O) isotopologue flux detection for environmental sciences.

This laser absorption spectrometer will be used for analysis of N2O emission and its isotopic signature from soil, water and sludge. This instrument is basic research equipment for the involved research groups in nearly all their research on microbial mediated N-transformation processes. The upgrade to continuous flux and high mobility of this technology is crucial for maintaining the research output of the groups at the current high level.
