Development of a philosophical theory for a historiography of the subject, the life-world en experience.

The aim of this project is to develop a philosophical theory which allows the possibility of a cultural history of the subject, the life-world en experience. I will do this by starting from the philosophy of culture of Ernst Cassirer and by contrasting it with traditional hermeneutics and with the concrete historiographical practice.
