Critical Analysis of the Apostolic Constitution Praedicate Evangelium.

Nine years after the beginning of the work of the council of cardinals in consultation with Pope Francis concerning a project to revise the apostolic constitution Pastor bonus, on March 19, 2022, the apostolic constitution Praedicate Evangelium concerning the Roman Curia and its service to the Church and to the world is proclaimed. Through the significance of reform as a constitutive dimension of the Church, the analysis of the successive reforms and changes of the Roman Curia, the theological-ecclesiological vision of Pope Francis and the textcritical analysis of Praedicate Evangelium, is examined to what extent the apostolic constitution Praedicate Evangelium contributes to the essence of the identity of the Roman Curia and whether Praedicate Evangelium modifies the place and role of the Roman Curia as part of the supreme authority of the hierarchical Church.
