Project

Guidelines for successful integration of small-scale CHP applications, for the purpose of a changing energetic context

The main objective of the project is the provision of knowledge-based tools and the design, dimensioning and realization of economic and energy-optimized micro-CHP applications that can achieve micro-CHP's successful deVlaamse market. Concrete will be conducted a series of field tests in cooperation with the sector, with real plants in detail are metered. The results will be translated them into a code of good practice. Here it is desired to provide practical installation and optimization guidelines to the installer (KPI 3: 100 installers who have incorporated micro-CHP in their range and that use the guide wire). They also aim to the manufacturers, but also the other factors further explore the potential for innovation, both technical (innovative buffering) Market-economy (smart grid, esco's). They want to see grow the number of members of the user group of 20 the first year to 40 at the end of the project. It also aims to reach 100 companies at events (KPI 1). In the first year of the project is to be able to report 30 micro-cogeneration plants and 100 at the end of the project (KPI 4). Through the implementation of micro-CHP, it will be possible to save the combined generation of heat, and power (electricity), a quantity of primary energy
