Quality of rectal cancer care U+2013 phase 3: statistical methodology for the benchmarking of care centres on the basis of a set of quality of care indicators

This study aims to develop a methodology to identify low and high-performing hospitals in rectal cancer care on the basis of a volunteer register and a set of quality of care indicators. Notwithstanding its specific application, the methodology will be generic in nature and applicable to other cancers, and (chronic) diseases.
