Study of the role of RIP4 kinase in cancer and inflammation

Defects in the balance between keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation are at the basis of a wide variety of skin disorders, such as psoriasis, dermatitis and cancer. RIP4 kinase is important for epidermal differentiation. In addition RIP4 has been implicated in B cell lymphoma malignancy. We will study the role of RIP4 in keratinocyte differentiation, inflammation and cancer.
