Actors in the spotlight. Research on the earnings and socio-economic position of the Flemish professional actors

In this study, we want to study the career, socio-economic position and earnings of professional actors. This portray will be based on new survey material gathered among Flemish actors. We will elaborate on both artistic and non artistic activities of actors and study their earnings from both activities. Based on these data, we will search for actor profiles and test the existing perceptions about the actor profession.
