The key outcomes include: characterisation of sexual age-mixing and concurrency patterns; construction of an epidemiological model to simulate partnership dynamics and the impact of early, wide-scale HIV treatment on HIV incidence; training of MSc and PhD students and the introduction of a programme in biostatistics.
